she looks pretty goofy- but she had a blast. Look for these switch plates in our home. She was SO happy that she just needed to give her biggest smile!

Our Treat!

The approach was daunting

Good thing we practiced!

Still not too sure of what was happening...

Huck, Maeve, Claira, Jacob -- the Stuive kids took special care of Maever

John & Kathleen are experts!

This Halloweeen was one of those special moments - Maeve was amaevzing! She didn't know what to do at first, but by the third or fourth house she was running across lawns - so happy! Shouting, "have a happy halloween... thank you... have a good nite... I'm ready to go to the next house..."

So much fun and we were so proud of her - she walked for about 90 minutes, took a couple of spills and popped back up. When asked if she wanted any help (carry her or hold her loot) - "no, I wanna keep walking..."

She's even managed to have just "... one little piece" of candy a day.

Sledding

We tried something new today - the video is one of the first runs. What you DON'T hear is "again" for the next 1/2 hour. The hills got bigger and she got faster. Finally, we did the sledding hill on the backside of the property. Dad got tired after a few runs. She cried.

Enjoy!
